3. Played in a band- Had a family band fro about a year (Me keyboards, husband –bass, daughter –guitar,vocals son- drums) until kids got too frustrated by the fact that some slacker (me) never practiced.
4. Visited Hawaii
5. Watched a meteor shower – from our back yard, all bundled up in sleeping bags on the trampoline.
6. Given more than you can afford to charity
7. Climbed a mountain – several, a couple were 14,000 footers.
9. Held a praying mantis
10. Sang a solo
11. Bungee jumped
12. Visited Paris
13.Watched a lightning storm at sea
14. Taught yourself an art from scratch

17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty
18. Grown your own vegetables- My favorite were the fresh sugar snap peas.

20. Slept on an overnight train

22. Hitch hiked– now that was a long time ago!
23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill -I skipped school in 8th grade after my boyfriend broke up with me.

28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice
29. Seen a total eclipse. -Drove to a special viewing spot to watch the moonrise I full eclipse. My son was only three at the time. Never see a total solar eclipse.
30. Watched a sunrise or sunset. Many, many, many. Love them.
31. Hit a home run
32. Been on a cruise – but only if taking a ferry up the Inside Passage in Alaska counts
33. Seen Niagara Falls in person
34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors
35. Seen an Amish community
36. Taught yourself a new language
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied
38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person
39. Gone rock climbing – a favorite pastime BK (before kids. Now it’s just indoor climbing.
40. Seen Michelangelo’s David
41. Sung karaoke (with my daughter at a local pub on Karaoke night)
42. Seen Old Faithful geyser erupt – in highschool on a backpacking trip. Want to see it again though.
43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant
44. Visited Africa
45. Walked on a beach by moonlight. –several times. The most recent was on 4th of July looking for fireworks trash.
46. Been transported in an ambulance –even in a Medivac helicopter. Not recommended.
47. Had your portrait painted. –only if caricatures count
48. Gone deep sea fishing – with my grandparents in Florida when in 5th grade. Caught some truly bizarre stuff.
49. Seen the Sistine Chapel in person
50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris
51. Gone scuba diving or snorkeling – Hawaii, Cozamel.
52. Kissed in the rain – I must have done this but can’t recall a specific time!
53. Played in the mud –at camp reunions we would play football (we called it the Turkey Bowl because it was usually over Thanksgiving break) and it was always in the mud.
54. Gone to a drive-in theater – in high school several times. I remember seeing Sleeper and Clockwork Orange.
55. Been in a movie
56. Visited the Great Wall of China
57. Started a business – I ran a Diet Center right our of college while I was studying to retake the MCATs
58. Taken a martial arts class -I am not going to count learning T’ai Chi when I was in college because there was nothing “martial” about it.
59. Visited Russia

61. Sold Girl Scout Cookies – but not as many as I’ve bought.
62. Gone whale watching – in Alaska! and from my deck at home.
63. Gotten flowers for no reason
64. Donated blood, platelets or plasma

66. Visited a Nazi Concentration Camp
67. Bounced a check -It’s hard to believe I haven’t done this at least once, but if I have I suppressed it.
68. Flown in a helicopter – the better experience (other than Medivac) was flying over the Badlands.
69. Saved a favorite childhood toy – a stuffed platypus
70. Visited the Lincoln Memorial – this past fall!
71. Eaten Caviar- once was enough

73. Stood in Times Square
74. Toured the Everglades
75. Been fired from a job –does being fired by my son as his homeschool teacher count?
76. Seen the Changing of the Guards in London
77. Broken a bone
78. Been on a speeding motorcycle
79. Seen the Grand Canyon in person –and walked down to the bottom, slept overnight, and walked back up again.
80. Published a book
81. Visited the Vatican
82. Bought a brand new car – twice
83. Walked in Jerusalem
84. Had your picture in the newspaper – as a child for a Kappa Kappa Gamma fashion-show fund raiser, as an adult because I was one of the few homeschooling moms to not afraid to talk to the local newspaper.
85. Read the entire Bible
86. Visited the White House
87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating– on a backpacking trip, we made friends with some Basque sheepherders who invited us to a lamb-roast and I volunteered to slit the dinner’s throat. I kept the hide with the intention of tanning it, but before I got the chance, it blossomed with maggots. (Eeewww.)
88. Had chickenpox
89. Saved someone’s life (but then I worked 15 years as an ER doc, so I should hope so.)
90. Sat on a jury -almost but not quite. The whole mandatory jury duty thing pisses me off an dI think the lawyers could tell.
91. Met someone famous –Jesse Jackson 1984 (was in a room with him and a few others from the Alan Cranston Campaign as he tried to convince us to switch over to him during the Democratic caucus in Madison WI.)
92. Joined a book club – addicted to these
93. Lost a loved one (grandparents, mother, best friend)
94. Had a baby – son 1992, daughter 1995
95. Seen the Alamo in person
96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake
97. Been involved in a law suit
98. Owned a cell phone – but not until 2001

Your girls lay the most amazing eggs. Ian LOVES eggs, and practically swoons when you give us a few “special” ones. 🙂
