Whatever that means! It guess it is like playing tag, and since I’ve been tagged that makes me IT. Only the game I’ve been tagged in is a bit different. I was tagged by 3 Ring Binder.
Here are the rules:
1. Link to the person who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write 6 random things about yourself.
4. Tag 6-ish people at the end of your post.
5. Let each person know he/she has been tagged.
6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.
Now for the 6 random things about myself:
1. I am currently an econ junkie.
2. When I was growing up. I was incredibly envious of the liberties given to boys that I didn’t seem to be allowed to participate in. I spent so much effort trying to break those barriers, that it wasn’t until in my thirties that I got around to enjoying to my femininity. When I finally did, I started out by buying all my climbing gear in hot pink.
3. My husband hates my chickens because he gets poo stuck in his shoes when he walks around in our back yard. I don’t mind –partly because the soles of my shoes are flat, and mostly because I love those ridiculously silly, beautiful birdbrains.
4. There are only a few things in life that I enjoy more than a really good, really long, foot massage.
5. Raising children is one of the most challenging, rewarding, wonderfully aggravating, time-consuming, soul-stretching, heart-wrenching, personal-growth journeys I have ever attempted. And I wouldn’t trade away a second of it.
6. My high school boyfriend and I used to write each other notes using Tolkien’s Runes.
So who to tag? For now, I’ll tag Lisa and Sue. I will have to come up with some others later.
Off to notify, and that’s it!
Did you have at least a little fun listing these random things? I had fun reading them.
Do you rock climb outdoors? As an avid indoorsman, I have enjoyed rock climbing in a rock climbing gym, but can’t imagine that I could transfer that enjoyment outside. I would never be certain that I’d put the pitons in correctly.
I’m guessing that number 6 really increased your social status with most of the men I grew to admire (loosely translated: geeks).
Thanks for playing.
LB,
Yes that was fun! Thanks for the tag.
re: rock climbing, I’ve been at it off and on for 30+ years. Started outside as an extention of moutaineering, and besides “back then” it was all outdoors. Recently, the opportunites which lend themselves to kids and urban living, it’s primarily inside. Both are fun, but I much prefer being outdoors. That said though, after a lead climbing accident when I was 30, I discovered I am not sufficiently paranoid. Since then, I let my husband lead. Division of labor and all that.
Ooh, Tolkien! Tengwar? Moon Runes?
