What do marshmallows have to do with S.A.T’s and saving for retirement?

At age four, would you have waited to earn the second marshmallow, or would you have eating the one in front of you?

Turns out that what the kids did (eat or wait) predicted how well they did later in life.

Now take a few minutes to see what evolved from this little experiment and what was learned about delayed gratification.
